Fire Safe Design HALO Sealing Systems
In the event of a fire it is critical that that the gasket is able maintain its seal and not release further supplies of flammable liquid.
The API 6FB fire test is designed to assess the fire safety of a gasket by measuring the leakage of gasket under fire conditions
Halo Seal has been tested to this standard and is certified as Fire safe

The Halo Seal®
is an improved design of solid serrated-core gasket,comprising a unique two-part sealing system with an ‘interchangeable’ sealing element paired with a ‘split’ guide-ring. Due to this intelligent and flexible design, one Halo Seal® sealing element satisfies all pressure classes from 150psi to 2500psi, across the complete range of international flange standards; thereby providing a vast reduction in both capital and maintenance costs, in comparison to other metallic and spiral-wound gaskets
